Throughout August 2016, Dr. Tim Stainton will be presenting at multiple sites in Australia, including the International Association for Scientific Study in Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IASSIDD) World Congress.
Dr. Stainton is the IASSIDD World Congress Master Lecturer and is receiving the 2016 IASSIDD Fellowship which is granted to those recognized by peers in the IASSIDD for outstanding contributions in the field of intellectual disabilities. We are also pleased to announce that the Centre for Inclusion and Citizenship (CIC) has accepted the invitation to become a Partner Organization of the IASSIDD Academy on Education, Training and Research. The CIC is Canada’s only university-based research centre with a dedicated focus on intellectual disability policy and practice.
