The UBC School of Social Work offers both Masters and PhD of Social Work programs.
Two programs lead to the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree:
The Advanced MSW offers advanced-year curriculum focusing on the fields of child and welfare, health and social inclusion, and international and social development. This program is for students who have previously completed a BSW.
The PhD program in Social Work provides students with a background in social work, social policy and social development. PhD students get an opportunity for advanced scholarship and professional growth in the context of a research-intensive program.
