Full-time MSW students may be considered for UBC general bursaries and top-ranked applicants will be considered automatically for some UBC scholarships.
There are a number of Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships available. In general, preference is given to applicants who have extensive knowledge of social work. Students interested in Research Assistantships should contact relevant faculty members directly to inquire about opportunities.
Social work awards and prizes are assigned in April or May of each year and are based on performance in course work and field placements.
