Dr. Barbara Lee from the School of Social Work at the University of British Columbia is seeking UBC alumni who graduated from a BSW or MSW between 2019-2024 and participated in a simulation-based learning experience during the social work program to participate in a research project entitled: Moments That Mattered: Social Workers Reflections on Simulation During Their Education.
The purpose of this study is to examine how classroom and workshop-based simulations offered in the School of Social Work have influenced the professional practice of UBC School of Social Work alumni with at least one year of practice experience post-qualification.
As part of the study, you are invited to complete a brief 5-minute online survey (distributed as part of the enrolment process) and a Zoom-based interview (approximately 60 minutes).
Your decision to participate, not participate, or withdraw from the study will not impact your relationship with the School of Social Work or UBC and will not affect your current/future academic or professional standing
Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions or are interested in participating, please contact research assistant Safiya Bhinder at safiyab@student.ubc.ca.
