2024 Staff and Faculty Retreat

On August 27, 2024, the staff and faculty of the UBC School of Social Work gathered for a collaborative retreat at the UBC Golf Club. The day was centered around team-building exercises, designed to foster connection and strengthen relationships among colleagues. It provided a valuable opportunity for faculty and staff to come together, engage in meaningful discussions about the school’s current initiatives, and share their thoughts on ways to improve communication, refine internal processes and create a more positive and productive work experience for all.

The day was not only productive but also filled with energy, good food, laughter, passion, and creativity, and overall, the event was a success.
