My name is Dr. Barbara Lee. I’m an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia School of Social Work, Director of the Centre for the Study of Services to Children and Families, and a Knowledge Exchange and Mobilization Scholar. I’m recording from the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people. I’m grateful to live and work on these lands as a guest and visitor.
This short episode marks the end of Season 1. Over the course of 12 episodes, we’ve explored inspiring stories of community-engaged research, knowledge mobilization, and collaborative partnerships. It’s been an incredible season—thank you for listening and being part of these important conversations.
We’ll be taking a short break, but we’re already gearing up for Season 2, which we’re excited to launch in September 2025, just in time for the new academic year.
Next season, we’ll be expanding beyond UBC to feature community-engaged partnerships across British Columbia—highlighting the diverse and impactful ways researchers and community organizations are working together to make meaningful change.
Until then, thank you again for your support.
