Celebrating the Achievements: MSW Students’ Qualitative Research Projects

One of the signature elements of our MSW program is the required two-term research courses on qualitative, quantitative or program evaluation methodology. Students are expected to take one of these courses and independently design and conduct a research project either individually or in groups. Here we proudly present the sixteen projects completed by students of the Qualitative Research course.

Learning how to do a qualitative study is not an easy process for most students. This year is particularly challenging to them. Due to COVID-19, all data collection activities were done remotely either on phone or zoom. Yet, they all succeeded.

These projects were presented virtually at a Zoom event held April 9, 2021.

Although the sample size of these studies is small, they reflected the stories and lived experience of many practitioners and service users. We hope you will find information presented in these posters useful.
