Last Thursday, March 20, the UBC School of Social Work and the United Nations Association in Canada, Vancouver branch, hosted the annual Splane Lecture in Social Policy. This year’s speaker was Jim Stanford, Economist and Director of the Centre for Future Work, who discussed Donald Trump’s trade war and its influence on Canada’s economy and society.
