Natasha Marriette is a fourth-year PhD student, an assistant professor at the University of the Fraser Valley, and a Registered Social Worker in Fraser Health. She is interested in how health professionals are trained to respond to reports of adult abuse, neglect, an self-neglect, and the understanding and assessment of risk, vulnerability, and decision-making for adults interacting with the health care system.

Natasha is an assistant professor at the University of the Fraser Valley and is passionate about promoting the social work profession as an integral part of health care, making university education accessible, and bridging gaps between theory and practice.
