We are happy to announce that Kelly Allison has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Teaching, with tenure, effective July 1, 2025.
Kelly will continue to teach social work practice courses and Chair the Field Education Program within the School of Social Work. In her role as educational leadership faculty, Kelly continues to focus on advancing experiential learning through field education and classroom based pedagogical innovations, mentorship for teaching excellence within the School and enhancing interprofessional collaborative health education at UBC.
Kelly will also continue in her role as Director of Education for UBC Health where she guides the development of innovation in collaborative health education, including ongoing renewal of the integrative curriculum, and innovations in practice-based interprofessional education including IPE models in the Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching clinic.
