Hannah Kia awarded CIHR grant



Congratulations to Assistant Professor Hannah Kia, a co-Principal Investigator on the study Interdisciplinary LGBTQ/2S+ HEALTH Hub: Healing through Education and Awareness in stigma reduction and Lifecourse Training in Health.

Hannah is part of a $2.4 million team grant from CIHR (Canadian Institutes of Health Research) to develop a national training platform intended to equip researchers, students and community stakeholders to contribute to research on stigma reduction and mental wellness across the life course among LGBTQ/2S+ populations.

This grant will span six years and, as co-PI, Hannah will play a role in key aspects of curriculum development and knowledge exchange processes supported.
