Melanie McDonald

About

Melanie is currently the Director of Support Services at the non-profit organization Pain BC working to improve the systems that impact people living with chronic pain.  Melanie holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, and an Advanced Certificate in Health Leadership from BCIT.  She has a background in direct practice, leadership and clinical supervision in a variety of settings including oncology, hospice and community care.  She has a passion for supporting program development to deliver high quality and trauma-informed services.  Melanie is frequently involved in research applying clinical practice to inform care.
