Orange Shirt Day is a significant occasion that allows us to come together to remember and acknowledge the experiences of Indigenous survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. By participating in this march, we can demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation, healing, and education.
For those joining the Intergenerational March, we will gather beside the School of Social Work, PondA Building at 11:30 AM. At 11:40am, we will walk together to the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre amphitheatre. Come dressed in an orange shirt or any orange attire to show your solidarity.
