Christie Garofalo, a University of British Columbia alumna and supporter, earned her Bachelor’s in Family Studies in 1996 and has been actively engaged in her community ever since. A committed leader in Canada’s nonprofit sector, she has championed numerous local and national initiatives over the past 30 years.
This year, Christie and her husband, David Garofalo, chair and CEO of Gold Royalty Corp., were selected for Vancouver Magazine’s 2026 Power 50 List, recognizing the city’s most influential leaders.
