Congratulations to our faculty members Dr. Donna Baines and Dr. Grant Charles, whose research projects were awarded funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)’s Insight and Insight Development Grant competitions.
Dr. Baines won a 6-year, $449,858 Insight Grant for her research project “Vulnerable Workers, Vulnerable Services and Non-Profits: Working in the Shadow of the New Authoritarianism and Intolerance.”
Dr. Charles was a co-applicant for a 2-year, $92,424 Insight Development Grant for a project entitled, “Parenting Following Childhood Family Adversity: How Yesterday’s Children Become Today’s Parents.”
