Field education is an integral part of our BSW and MSW programs. Social work students are placed in community social service agencies or organizations for a period of social work practice. In their practicum, students focus on integrating the theory, knowledge, and skills taught in on-campus courses with learning from doing practice at the agency and in the community. The practicum earns course credit and is evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis.
