 ong> Hogan’s Alley was once the heart of Vancouver’s Black community\, bust
 ling with businesses\, cultural hubs\, and residences. Despite its demoliti
 on in the 1970s\, the legacy <img class="size-medium wp-image-19367 alignle
 ft" src="https://sowk.cms.arts.ubc.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/32/2024/09/H
 ogans-Alley-2-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />of Hogan’s All
 ey lives on through the stories and memories of those who lived there. Lama
  Mugabo\, a passionate community leader\, will guide us through the alleys 
 and landmarks\, sharing anecdotes and historical insights that bring this i
 mportant chapter of our city’s history to life.</p><p><strong>Why This Tour
  Matters:</strong> For social work professionals\, understanding the histor
 ical and social contexts of the communities we serve is crucial. This tour 
 will provide invaluable insights into the systemic challenges Black communi
 ties face in Vancouver\, both past and present. By learning about the resil
 ience and contributions of the Hogan’s Alley community\, we can better advo
 cate for and support Black individuals and groups in our work.</p><p><stron
