  />Join us for a virtual presentation by Phyllis Webstad who will share her
  experiences of attending a residential school and how sharing her story si
 nce 2013 has led to Orange Shirt Day\, recognized every September 30th. Ora
 nge Shirt Day is a day to honour and remember the experiences of survivors 
 and those who did not make it. Phyllis’s commitment and courage has led to 
 awareness of the intergenerational impact of residential schools at local\,
  provincial\, national\, and international levels.</p><p>A 45-minute presen
 tation will be followed by a 15-minute interactive discussion.</p><p>We inv
 ite everyone to wear an orange shirt for the presentation to show support f
 or survivors and reconciliation. It does not need to be the official Orange
  Shirt Day shirt.</p><p>Attending the presentation\, recognizing Orange Shi
 rt Day on September 30th\, wearing your orange shirt and engaging in relate
 d initiatives are but a few steps to take towards reconciliation.</p><p><im

 the Orange Shirt Society\, and tours the country telling her story and rais
 ing awareness about the impacts of the residential school system. She has p
 ublished several books including “The Orange Shirt Story” and “Phyllis’s Or
