The UBC School of Social Work and the British Columbia Association of Social Workers co-hosted the Paul Cheng Memorial Lecture on September 6, 2017. The recipient of the 2017 Inspiring Social Worker of the Year Award is Ilm Kassam (AIDS Vancouver), who shared his experiences and insights with new and returning social work students, guests, faculty and staff.
