To mark the 90th Anniversary of the School of Social Work we are holding a Symposium on Social Justice and an Ethic of Care – Feb 24 & 25. The Symposium will open with a keynote address from Prof. Christine Morley, Queensland University of Technology, Australia (details below). The Symposium continues the next day with research papers and panels (8:30am – 5pm – Jack Bell School of Social Work, 2080 West Mall, UBC). The event is co-sponsored with the Department of Applied Social Sciences, Hong Kong Polytechnic. Registration is free and closes January 15, 2020.
