The UBC Vancouver School of Social Work is pleased to invite applications for the 90th Anniversary Fellow.
The goal of the Fellowship is to provide an opportunity to explore social justice Social Work and critically transformative knowledge. We warmly invite applications from established scholars whose work uses a social justice lens and advances critical research and practice. The 90th Anniversary Fellow will give a public keynote on the social justice/critically transformative theme of their choice and lead a smaller faculty-based lecture and lunch discussion with graduate students and faculty. Reasonable travel costs, per diem and accommodation will be covered.
Please send a current CV and a short letter indicating your interest in being considered as our 90th Anniversary Fellow, outlining the titles of the keynote address and the faculty-based lecture as well as a short statement about the focus of the lectures (to Prof. Donna Baines, Director, School of Social Work, UBC – email@example.com). The Fellowship will take place during the 2019/2020 academic year, preferably during social work month in March 2020.
Deadline for applications is November 1, 2019. The successful Fellow will be notified by November 15, 2019.
