Margaret Wright received her PhD from the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. She has had many years of practice experience in the criminal justice field with both young offender and adult populations. She is particularly interested in the interface between child welfare and correctional systems.
Dr. Wright’s research is in the area of system responses to child sexual abuse. She has published Judicial Decision Making in Cases of Child Sexual Abuse and is currently working on a manuscript of another book on child welfare and justice system responses to the sexual abuse of children.
