Engaging People with Dementia in Research: Pushing the Envelope

Part of the Colloquium Series from the Centre for Research on Personhood in Dementia, this colloquium is intended to facilitate discussion between service providers, researchers, policy makers and people with dementia and their family members. It will take place at 2080 West Mall, the Jack Bell Building, Room 200.

GERO@nursing and the Centre for Research on Personhood in Dementia (CRPD) are pleased to announce that Dr. John Keady will be leading this workshop as an opportunity for researchers, students, and people with dementia to come together to share experiences and new ideas about inclusive and participatory approaches to conducting research with people with dementia. Dr. Keady is visiting from University of Manchester and is internationally recognized for his expertise in the area of person-centered dementia practice and research. He is the founding and Co-Editor of ‘Dementia: the international journal of social research and practice’.
